Joanita Finn is the heart and soul behind …& then Numbers, where she wears multiple hats as co-owner, bookkeeping wizard, and procurement aficionado.
With over two decades of navigating the intricate world of public procurement, Joanita decided to diversify and add a “simpler” profession to expand her horizons. Upon exploring various professions including property management and proofreading, her love for numbers and her innate attention to detail led her down the “not simple” path of bookkeeping. And so, …& then Numbers was born!
What started as a journey to diversify her skills turned into a love affair with financial organization. Embracing the transformative power of organized financial records, Joanita has come to appreciate how that messy shoebox full of receipts can narrate a compelling business story and spare owners the hassle of prolonged, painful accountant visits. Her passion doesn’t stop at shoebox receipting! She’s also delved into the fascinating world of Cannabis accounting, seeing it not just as a challenge but as an opportunity to help businesses navigate the complex web of regulations and compliance.
Armed with an MSc in Procurement and certifications in Bookkeeping, QuickBooks Online, Cannabis Bookkeeping, seed-to-sale tracking, and Cleanups, Joanita is more than just a numbers person—she’s your financial confidante. A proud member of the National Associations of Cannabis Accounting & Tax Professionals and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, she’s ready to bring her expertise to your doorstep, with a smile and a genuine desire to see your business thrive.
